Mickey Factz: Uber Music

By Sin'seer | February 22, 2008

Hailing straight from the Boogie Down Bronx, the birthplace of hip hop, Mickey Factz is on a quest to take hip hop to a place where it has never gone before. He’s managed to craft one of the most eclectic styles of music that I’ve witnessed in a long time.  His latest mixtape, “Heavens Fallout” is definitely a breath of fresh air for those that want to hear something new and different.  “The music my generation and younger are listening to has expanded beyond funk and soul, we’re listening to rock, electronic, house and so forth. I’m always going to be clever with the wordplay and lyrics, but very few rappers can do that on a Royskopp record. That’s the lane I ride in. I’m going to do me, and trust, you’ll love me for it.”  Mickey came up with the term “Uber Music” to describe his brand of hip hop.  When asked what  Uber Music is, he describes it as, “undeniable global music…I don’t care where in the world you are, you’re rockin’ to this shit.”

Mickey Factz is definitely one to watch. Click the link below and download a free copy of his latest mixtape “Heavens Fallout.”
